Pregnancy Anxiety Study

First Trimester Volunteers Needed

For Research Study

If you are currently in your first trimester and you also have symptoms of worry, panic, obsessions, or compulsions, you may be eligible for this research study.

Participation Involves:

  • An initial 2-3 hour interview to determine your psychiatric diagnosis and whether you qualify for the follow-up visits
  • 1-2 hour interview every 3 months during pregnancy (3 additional visits)
  • Recordings of heart rate and blood pressure at the time of each in-person interview
  • Monthly 20-30 minute phone interviews (up to 5 phone interviews)
You will be reimbursed $50 for travel and time for each of the interview visits. You must be over age to participate.

The study will take place at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center at 525 East 68th St in Manhattan.
