STATEMENT OF NEED
Previous registrants' feedback has emphasized a need for an update in practical aspects of management of patients, which this course fulfills.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Internists, adolescence-pediatricians, geriatricians, family physicians, other primary care providers as well as specialists in various fields.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
It is intended that this Weill Cornell CME activity will lead to improved patient care. Upon completion the registrants should be conversant with modern diagnosis and management of:
1) Cardiology update; Pulmonary disorders; colon cancer; Lung cancer
2) celiac disease; GERD; dermatology; neurology
3) GI disorders; neurology update; Lip disorders;
4 Influenza; travel medicine; obesity; HIV/AIDS
5) Imaging-case orders; osteoporosis; rheumatology; pain management sease; osteoporosis;
6) diarrhea; prostate disorders; psychiatric medicine s

This annual five-day course is targeted to update internists' knowledge in the field of internal medicine and allied sciences; emphasis is on new developments, mechanisms, concepts, newly available tests and medications. Designed to improve physicians' management of patients, every effort has been made to concentrate on practical aspects of clinical practice.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
There will be eight major two-hour sessions, each session devoted to one sub-specialty of medicine or allied field. Eighteen one-hour presentations and Medical Grand Rounds will focus on other sub-specialties. There will be five Q & A sessions and two "Meet the Professor" luncheons during the week for each registrant at which participants will be able to discuss matters of mutual interest with a variety of sub-specialists in small groups in an informal setting. The registrants will also be exposed to Tai-chi and home exercise for teaching patients prevention of osteoporosis and falls.

Three additional Hands-on Workshops are OPTIONAL. Because of limited resources (teachers, space, box meals, etc) these hands-on workshops are available by pre-registration only (before June 1, 2008) and require additional tuition:
