UPDATE YOUR MEDICINE 2009-2010

(Wednesday evening program)

Target Audience:

Internists, adolescence-pediatricians, geriatricians, family physicians, other primary health care providers, as well as other specialists. This Wednesday evening series is targeted to update internists' knowledge in the field of internal medicine and allied sciences; emphasis is on new developments, mechanisms, concepts, newly available tests and medications. Designed to improve physicians' management of patients. Every effort is made to concentrate on practical aspects of clinical practice.


Course Description and Objectives:

Weill Cornell CME activities are designed to lead to improved patient care and safety. Upon completion the registrants should be conversant withModern diagnosis and management of :

  1. Lipid Disorders, Pulmonary Embolism
  2. Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Review of Bariatric Surgery
  3. Interstitial Lung Disease, Management of Chronic Kidney Disease
  4. Nutrition Fact & Fantasy, Irritable Bowel Disease
  5. Update Diabetes Control, Graves’ Disease
  6. Biologics in Rheumatology, Congestive Heart Failure
  7. Cosmetics in Dermatology, Skin Lesions
  8. Update Anti-Depressants, Leukemia

Tuition
