Dr. Adler's current research interests include applications of ultrasound to the detection of early changes of osteoarthritis in articular cartilage, and the application of quantitative techniques to estimate soft tissue blood flow in pathological states of the musculoskeletal system. He also studies the use of diagnostic ultrasound as a cost effective and accurate means to image the musculoskeletal system.
