Recognition and interpretation of gross lesions is important to pathologists in all fields including diagnostic laboratories, pharmaceutical industries, and laboratory and zoo animal positions. The gross review is intended to expose attendees to spontaneous or experimental lesions from various institutes, and to review the pathologic processes associated with the lesions. This optional one hour session will commence immediately following the cessation of conference presentations.

Following the tradition started by Dr. John King, we offer an hour gross review following the conclusion of the meeting. In lieu of "buckets of tissue", projected gross images will be reviewed, in what is intended to be a very informal setting. Please plan to submit digital images for display with your slide sets and we will discuss morphologic diagnoses, etiologies and pathogeneses.
