Dr. Adkins' research projects have covered a wide range of topics in adult cardiac surgery. These include clinical outcomes for resection of Left Ventricle aneurysms, the use of Aprotinin in open heart procedures, evaluation of various conduits for coronary artery bypass and late follow up results for the St. Jude valve.
