Biography
Dr. Matteo Porotto is an Associate Professor of Microbiology in Pediatrics at New York Weill Cornell Medical Center. He received his education at the University of Genoa, and served a postdoctoral fellowship in virology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Graduate School of Biological Sciences, where he subsequently became an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. He joined the Weill Medical College Department of Pediatrics in 2005. He has trained medical students and graduate students in virology research and has served on National Institutes of Health grant review committees.
