Current research is focussed on issues of general interest to clinical pharmacology. Some of these include: whether consent forms inform the potential subject, barriers to the use of opioids for treating pain, issues related to the World Health Organization Essential Medicines program, differences in individual patients' responses to a medication, and problems individualizing drug therapy.
