Dr. Hassan Ghomrawi is an Assistant Professor of Public Health in the Department of Public Health at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He earned his Bachelors and Masters of Public Health degrees from the American University of Beirut. Dr. Ghomrawi then traveled to the United States to pursue doctoral studies and earned his PhD in Health Services Research and Policy from the University of Minnesota with a concentration in outcomes research.

Dr. Ghomrawi specializes in health economics and health outcomes research, with particular interests in the field of orthopedics and post-acute rehabilitation care. He is the recipient of K99/R00 award from the National Institute of Child and Human Developement that focuses on understanding the effect of patient recovery expectations on outcomes of total joint replacement. He is also involved with the Weill Cornell Centers for Education and Research on Therapeutics (CERT), which is evaluating outcomes in orthopedic devices in collaboration with researchers at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
