Subscription Databases: Egrants.net, IRIS, COS
Weill Medical College subscribes to three funding opportunity databases:
Egrants.net To establish a personal account IRIS (from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) Community of Science (COS)Please note: For IRIS and COS access you must log into their web sites through the WMC internal network. These databases cannot be accessed through your personal Internet Service Provider. For more information about ITS Remote Access that can enable you to connect to the internal network from a location other than WMC, please visit the Weill Cornell Information Technologies & Services web site.
Broadcast Email
When the Grants and Contracts office receives funding announcements directly from funding agencies, the WMC community is informed through the WMC Broadcast Listserv. Opportunities that are available to the College by invitation only, or have limited submission requirements, are also broadcasted. Please see below for information on the limited submission application process.
Limited Grant Submissions
In cases when funding agencies limit the number of applications that may be submitted by each institution, the Research Awards Committee (RAC) selects the best candidate(s) from a group of potential nominees. Internal RAC deadlines and other important application information is broadcasted by the Grants and Contracts office.
Grant Resource Publications
The Annual Register of Grant Support is a hard cover directory of funding sources. This publication is available for identifying researching funding opportunities in Room A-128.
