As part of Weill Medical College's Strategic Plan, 14 new core research facilities and services are currently in development. These cores and services are available to all faculty at WMC. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) have been developed for each of the Cores and are available by clicking on the Core names listed above or from the RASP office (Room A-131). Faculty should familiarize themselves with the procedures which include information about the services offered and the fees involved. Several of the larger Core facilities have a faculty oversight committee whose members are providing user input and guidance.

The Medical College is committed to subsidizing many of its Core facilities in order to keep the fees at a reasonable level. The establishment of these core facilities would not have been possible without the enthusiastic efforts of many individuals. Special thanks to Dr. Richard Rifkind, Dr. Elizabeth Lacy, and Mr. Gus Bernhardt at SKI. Thanks are also extended to Dr. Neil Lipman, Dr. Frederick Maxfield, Dr. Steven Gross, Dr. Donald Fischman, Dr. Dirk Sostman, Dr. Roy Silverstein, Dr. John Daly, Dr. Martin Graham, Ms. Jean St. Germain, and Mr. Scott Puccino.
