Welcome New Staff
Liudmila Liubcina, MPH, is the Financial Administrator for the Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Ms. Liubcina holds a Master of Public Health degree in Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences from Hunter College; a Master Level Certification in Risk Assessment in Human and Environmental Toxicology from Uppsala University in Sweden; and a Bachelor of Public Health from Vilnius University in Lithuania. Before coming to Weill Cornell, she was a Program Administrator for NYCRx, a non-profit organization whose mission is to increase access to low cost, safe and effective pharmaceuticals for all New Yorkers, especially the uninsured and underinsured. She has also been Assistant Director of Tobacco Operations for the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs, Division of Enforcement, a Grants Assistant for the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Bureau of Emergency Management, and an Environmental Analyst for CUNY Environmental Health and Safety Program.
Allison Dunning, MS, is a new Research Biostatistician in the Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Ms. Dunning completed a B.S. degree in Statistics from Virginia Tech and an M.S. in Biostatistics from Virginia Commonwealth University. While in graduate school, she was a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant in Biostatistics, as well as an Adjunct Instructor of Statistics. She is currently writing two manuscripts from her master’s thesis, which was titled, “Comparing Bootstrap and Jackknife Variance Estimation Methods for Area Under the ROC Curve Using One-Stage Cluster Survey Data.”
Arnaud Drouin, MD, MS, has been appointed a Research Associate in the Division of Community and Public Health Programs, working with Dr. Mirella Salvatore. Dr. Drouin received his medical degree and his master’s degree in clinical pathology from the Faculte de Medecine Pierre et Marie Curie of Univeriste Paris, where he also completed Clinical Pathology residency and fellowship training. Before moving to the U.S., he held positions as "Assistant Hospitalier Universitaire" (equivalent to Instructor) in Paris Universities. He has also been in private practice in Lyon and in the Rhone-Alpes region. From 2006 to 2008, he was a Clinical Research Assistant at Weill Cornell Medical College’s International Medicine and Infectious Diseases Department in New York City working in Port au Prince, Haiti. From 2008, he has been a Clinical Research Assistant at Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center in New York City working on the development of vaccine adjuvants.
