Biostatistics and Research Methodology Core

In conjunction with the office of the Senior Associate Dean, and under the leadership of Linda M. Gerber, Ph.D, the Department of Public Health manages a core resource facility to provide assistance to investigators in clinical research methodology and analysis. The Core contains the requisite expertise and methodological skills for conducting clinical research.

From the beginning of a study, experienced consultants will be available to assist investigators in operationalizing a hypothesis, designing a protocol, selecting a sample, determining sample size, power analyses, and strategies for recruitment.
In sum, assistance with all services necessary for writing a competitive research proposal will be available. For more information go to above CORE website link.
