Cornell Analytic/Consulting Services:

The Cornell Analytic/Consulting Services unit of the Department of Public Health was launched in September 2000 under the leadership of Madelon Finkel, Ph.D. The purpose of this unit is to provide expert epidemiologic, biostatistical, health economic, and health policy consulting to healthcare organizations outside of the Medical College. In particular, the Unit is designed to provide expert analytic studies in pharmaco-epidemiology, pharmaco-economics, outcomes research and data management. The Unit's objective is to help its clients get the information they need in a timely manner. Depending upon the specific needs of the project, department faculty with the requisite expertise will participate as consultants.
The Unit will market itself to pharmaceutical companies, health care organizations, managed care organizations, and public (City, State and Federal) agencies. Individual contracts with clients will dictate the nature and scope of the work.
