Medical insurance is provided for graduate trainees and
their dependents free of charge. This insurance
includes Blue Cross and Major Medical Insurance covering
inpatient and outpatient services, including pediatric
care, formulary drugs, laboratory and x-ray services,
emergency care, and maternity care. Long-term
disability insurance also is provided free of charge. A
dental plan is provided at no cost and can cover
eligible dependents with a minimal additional fee. Each
intern or resident is provided malpractice insurance
free of charge at each hospital through which they
rotate. |
