Information for Residency Application

The Department of Neurological Surgery participates in the National Neurosurgical Matching Plan. For the applicant who matches successfully with the neurological surgery training program, PGY-1 in general surgery will be arranged at Weill Cornell Medical Center. A separate application for general surgery is not necessary unless the applicant would like to take PGY-1 at Cornell even if she or he does not match successfully in neurological surgery.
