option to reside in hospital-owned apartments located on
York Avenue directly across the street from the
hospital. The modern luxury apartments are offered at a
subsidized rate that is considered superior to that
offered by other medical centers in New York City.
Also, rent may be paid with pre-tax dollars, resulting
in significant savings in federal, state, and city
income tax.
