MD-PhD Faculty Members Selected as Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Top Scientists

Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) announced the appointment of fifty-six biomedical scientists as its newest class of investigators. The Institute is committing more than $600 million over their first term of appointment. Three members of the MD-PhD faculty are part of this elite group of top scientists. Through their appointment as HHMI Investigators, Paul Bieniasz (RU), Scott Keeney (SKI) and Leslie Vosshall (RU) have been given a unique opportunity to explore innovative research work in the biomedical field.
