RESOLVED: Service Disruption to ITS Web Service

This service disruption has been resolved. If you continue to have difficulty with your FTP access, please contact ITS Support. We again apologize for the inconvenience.

On May 12th, ITS experienced a hardware failure on the primary web server that provides web hosting for Weill Cornell Medical College, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, and other departmental websites. ITS Operations resumed the service immediately on a redundant web server, providing a minimal disruption to web site availability.
Because the secondary web server was not intended as a long term solution, many users who previously had the ability to edit files on their departmental web sites do not have access to this new server. We are aware of this limitation and apologize for the inconvenience. We expect to be able to provide write access to the web server by the close of business on Friday, May 16th.
If you have an immediate change that needs to be made to your web site before this access is restored, please open a case with the ITS Web Group.
