Welcome to the Institute for Clinical Research (ICR) located at Weill Cornell Medical College. The ICR provides an integrated framework of tools to promote, fund, and manage translational, clinical and basic research.

The ICR is dedicated to creating a solid foundation of support for established investigators and to recruiting outstanding young investigators in pursuit of front-rank research. These investigators, whether working together or independently, are making the difference in finding treatments for a myriad of critical illnesses.
Medical research in the 21st century spans many fields that may, at times, interconnect.
It requires exacting standards, a creative approach, bio-statistical support, and a spirit of cooperation. There are complicated bioethical concerns to be addressed as well. We welcome the challenges. We know that this century, like no other, will bring important therapeutic advances that will have a major impact on human health and disease.
