WMC offers a wide variety of housing options to eligible students,
including studio, shared apartment-style housing, and dormitory-style
housing. Studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments are available
for eligible family housing applicants.
Matriculated students
WMC Housing provides accommodations for students in numerous degree
programs. Our largest groups include students from the Medical College,
the Graduate School of Medical Sciences, the Tri-Institutional MD-PhD
Program, the Physician Assistant Program, and the Training Program in
Chemical Biology. Although eligibility guidelines vary slightly among
the programs, information and application materials that can be used by
most applicants are provided here. We recommend that students consult
the administrators of their programs for further information -- links to
the web pages of several student programs are on the right.
Visiting students & Cornell Ithaca Graduate Students
Information that is important for graduate students from Cornell's
Ithaca campus and students from other institutions who have been invited
by our faculty to participate on-campus in research is also available.
Please link to the Cornell Ithaca Graduate Students and Visiting
Graduate Assistants section for additional information on eligibility
and availability.
Family housing
Family Housing is available to WMC faculty, postdoctoral, trainees, and
students. WMC has studio, one and two-bedroom apartments for students,
postdocs, and fellows. For faculty, WMC offers studio, one, two, and
three-bedroom apartments. Because housing is a limited resource in the New
York City metropolitan area, family housing eligibility criteria and
priority designations have been developed. Interested applicants may
download the full policy and application packet.
