The
Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at NewYork Presbyterian’s Weill
Cornell Medical Center depends on many sources of revenue to maintain
its status as a leading research center, care provider, and educator
of future generations of health care professionals. A major source
of support is the philanthropic vision of people who have come to
know our work. We are deeply grateful to the leaders, students,
friends, alumni, and employees of this institution for their investment
in our future. Private support is the lifeblood of any preeminent
academic institution, and it separates ordinary institutions from
the truly great.
New
York Weill Cornell Medical Center is a tax-exempt organization under
Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Gift Planning professionals
at the Medical Center work with people and their tax counsel to
create a legacy and to maximize the advantages available to our
supporters. By employing Gift Planning strategies in your financial
and estate plans, you can ensure significant support for the clinical
programs, life saving research, and educational initiatives at the
Medical Center, while at the same time securing benefits for yourself
and your family.
