Alumni and Careers
Weill Cornell Graduate School (WCGS) provides its students with resources to explore their post-degree research careers.
The school's Career Pathways Program helps graduate students investigate career options, get tips for navigating today's job market, and learn the nuances of networking. Monthly speaker presentations featuring Graduate School alumni and industry representatives give students opportunities to network with professionals, presenters, and other students, and make valuable contacts. Career Pathways focuses on career areas in which an advanced science degree is highly prized, including academia, law, public policy, finance, communications, and research and development.
WCGS students, postdocs, and alumni may register to use the school's Bio Careers web site http://www.biomedcornell.biocareerservices.org/index.html, a job board and career information exchange site focused on opportunities in the biomedical and life sciences.
With more than 1,000 professionals working in such diverse sectors as academia, industry, finance, communications, government, and law, the alumni of the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences are a vital component of biomedical communities throughout the United States and beyond.
