This service is a comprehensive database of more than 200,000 Material Safety Data Sheets, obtained directly from 1,200 North American manufacturers and suppliers. Each Material Safety Data Sheet is presented exactly as provided by the manufacturer/supplier and contains:

  • chemical and physical properties

  • health hazards

  • first aid recommendations

  • personal protection

  • fire and reactivity data

  • spill and disposal procedures

  • storage and handling

On average, over 60,000 records are added or replaced each quarter. NOTE: This service is provided as a subscription service by the Cornell University Library System.
