Director of Weill Cornell Program in Family Medicine

Maritza DeLaRosa, MD, Director of Weill Cornell Program in Family Medicine and Chair of the Department of Family Practice at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. DeLaRosa holds the title of Assistant Professor of Family Practice in Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. She is a graduate of Universidad Central Del Caribe medical school in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She did her residency training in family medicine at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn. Faculty advisors for students

Family Medicine faculty members from The Brooklyn Hospital Center serve as advisors to the student led Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) and perform the administrative duties in relation to the Weill Cornell Program in Family Medicine. They hold regular office hours at the WCMC campus and are available to advise students regarding coursework, electives, and serve as student mentors. Faculty advisors are members of the Weill Medical College curriculum and admissions committee. They are also involved in medical student education throughout the four years and serve as clinical community preceptors in the Medicine, Patients, and Society courses and the Primary Care Clerkship.

Marie L. Eloi-Stiven, is a graduate of The University of Southern California (USC) Keck School of Medicine class of 1997. She finished her family medicine residency in 2000 at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA)/ Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center Family Practice Residency Program. She holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor in Family Practice in Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University where she serves as a member of the curriculum committee and participates in the Medicine, Patients, and Society course. Kristen Harvey, MD is a graduate of Weill Medical College of Cornell University class of 2000. She holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Practice in Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr. Harvey completed her family medicine residency in 2003 at Montefiore Medical Center Residency Program in Social Medicine. Dr. Harvey also sits on the admission committee and provides didactic lectures for the Primary Care rotation at Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
