1. To perform a complete history and physical examination on patients hospitalized for medical illnesses
2. To write a complete admission note
3. To write daily progress notes
4. To write admission and daily orders
5. To develop the problem list, differential diagnosis, diagnostic strategy, and management plan for common medical problems
6. To interact as a professional with the patient, family, and members of the medical team
7. To function as a member of the medical team
