Weill Medical College encourages students to seek outside support by providing resource information on government and private sources. Students may reduce their loans by the amount of outside scholarships. Some students accept Armed Service or National Health Service Corps scholarships involving support in exchange for future service. A federal loan program is available to students committed to primary care medicine. While employment is not included in the financial aid package, there are funds for summer research before first and second years.
