When Joan and Sanford I. Weill heard of the
plans for a new Education Center at Cornell University Medical College,
they recognized an opportunity to effect the kinds of changes that
are essential in preparing students of medicine for the 2lst century.
Their response was one of generosity and foresight to create The Joan
and Sanford I. Weill Education Center.
According to Robert Michels, MD, a former Dean of the Medical College,
the Weill Education Center is "pivotal to the College's future, and
key to our ability to provide a premier education to promising medical
students." |
