Carolyn Reid Named Acting Director of Medical Library

	Carolyn Reid, acting director of the Samuel J. Wood Library and the C.V. Starr Biomedical Information Center.

Carolyn Reid, associate director of the Medical Library, has been appointed acting director for the Samuel J. Wood Library and the C.V. Starr Biomedical Information Center. Ms. Reid was appointed acting director following the retirement of Dr. Robert Braude as the Frances and John Loeb Librarian and assistant dean for Information Resources at Weill Cornell.

Ms. Reid joined the Medical Library in 1987 as associate director. She is a member of the Medical Library Association, the Association of College and Research Libraries, and the Library Administration and Management Association.

Ms. Reid received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Missouri (Columbia).
