Welcome from the Program Director

Welcome to the Masters Degree Program in Clinical Investigation, which was instituted to develop formal training opportunities in clinical research. Since there is a national shortage of well-trained clinical investigators who hold the key to the success of the nation's biomedical research endeavors, it is our goal to help fulfill this critical need. Therefore this program was developed to provide future investigators with a strong foundation in the principles and skills in clinical investigation, with training that encompasses the entire spectrum of clinical research activities. At its conclusion, the Masters Degree Program will have trained students to become effective clinical scientists who can translate basic research to bedside care.
