About Photographs

Medical Center Archives has more than 8000 images of New York Hospital (first, second, and third locations) and Cornell University Medical College (first and second locations). Smaller collections of other institutions are available. The images include photographs of buildings, departments, faculty/staff, students, and events.

The entire database of photographs is not available online; it can only be viewed by visiting Medical Center Archives in person. To make an appointment, please contact the Photo Archivist. Appointments are usually available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Copies of photographic images can be ordered for the following fees:

Slides	$07.50 each
Prints (5x7 inches)	$17.50 each
Prints (8x10 inches)	$20.00 each
Digital images	$05.00 each

Digital images are provided at 300 dpi unless otherwise specified. Large orders of digital images will be sent on a compact disc via regular mail; small orders will be sent via email. A $10.00 service/handling charge is added to all orders.
